AN ATTITUDE OF
EVANGELISM (2 CORINTHIANS 4:13-15)

INTRODUCTION:
A. We are charged with taking the
gospel into the world.
1. To evangelize the world is a tremendous task.
2. With so many members moving away we must get evangelistic.
B. Paul shows us an attitude of
evangelism in (2 Corinthians 4:13-15).
1. Evangelism begins with our faith in Jesus.
2. Our evangelism causes many to rejoice and glorify God (2 Corinthians 4:15).
1. AN ATTITUDE OF EVANGELISM (2 CORINTHIANS 4:13-15).
A. Our attitude of evangelism.
1. Evangelism is an important part of our faith (2 Corinthians 4:13).
2. We should always be ready to be evangelistic (1 Peter 3:15-16).
B. We should be evangelistic because
Jesus is coming again.
1.The one who raised Jesus will raise us (2 Corinthians 4:14).
2. We see two resurrections in John 5:24-29).
a. Evangelism raises us from spiritual death (John 5:24-27).
b. We must be evangelistic because we will give an accounting of our lives to
God (John 5:28-29).
2. THE RESULT OF AN EVANGELISTIC ATTITUDE (2 CORINTHIANS 4:15).
A. What happens when we are
evangelistic (2 Corinthians 4:15).
1. God's grace spreads to ever increasing numbers of people.
2. Those evangelized glorify and thank God (Acts 8:39-40).
B. We are to have an attitude of
evangelism.
1. Paul was appointed as an evangelist (1 Timothy 1:12-16).
2. Aquila and Priscilla were evangelistic (Acts 18:24-26).
3. We serve under the great commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
CONCLUSION:
A. Evangelism is part of the
Christian life.
1. Jesus came to save sinners and we serve with Him in this work.
2. We are to go into all the world teaching the gospel.
B. What is you attitude toward
evangelism?
1. Who do you know who needs Jesus? Will you teach the gospel to others?
2. How will you respond to the gospel today?
