Northgate Church of Christ is in need of a full-time preacher. We are looking for a young and enthusiastic individual that will help the members of the congregation to stay focused on continually strengthening their relationship with the Lord. The main responsibilities of the preacher will be preparing lessons for Sunday morning and evening services as well as teaching Sunday morning class. Furthermore, reaching out to members of the congregation (youth and elderly) as well as to those in the community is essential. Recent graduates are welcome to apply. Greetings My Brothers and Sisters in Christ. For nearly twenty years, I have been counseling troubled teens as a profession and have recognized a need to expand my work into a ministry with hopes of developing their faith. My vision includes creating my own home and adopting some of the children who fall within the parameters of my experience. I intend to fund this vision by using the gifts available to me - my writings. I recently released a novel on Amazon as an eBook entitled, Healing Under His Wings, by Jacqueline Jones. The story provides a fuller version of my vision along the stories of some of the teens that I have worked to help. It is an inspirational story of one women's faith in the Father and how she uses her faith to help provide healing to their wounded spirits.
