The ideas that might be right for society are not always applicable to the house of God. The inequities in society regarding women should be eliminated, but God already "is no respecter of persons". We are "all one in Christ Jesus", but there are different areas of responsibility outlined in the Bible that are not culturally specific & apply for all time.

The idea of sexism is associated with the role of women in the church because of the feminism that has been prevalent today. The roles outlined by God are His & speak to an organization foreordained. The Bible has many examples of women, without whom the work could not have been done. I Corinthians 12:18 explains that God makes the decision, not man

God is the Father, Christ is the Son. It speaks to His idea of leadership.The Hebrew & Greek languages use the masculine gender, & God inspired the scriptures(II Timothy 3:16)!
