Welcome to the web site of the Downey church of Christ

The Downey church of Christ is an undenominational church.  We have no central headquarters. The head of the church is none other than Jesus Christ himself (Ephesians 1:22-23). 

We are united together by The Word of God into One Faith (Ephesians 4:3-6). The Bible is our only doctrine. We follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and his holy Apostles, and not the teachings of man or any man made creeds. We are and desire to be called, Christians only, (Acts 11:26).
