What is the list about?

This list is designed to serve as a resource for Christian elders who wish to discuss topics pertaining to the Lord's holy church and shepherding. This is a place to share information, news, experiences, and ideas that relate to New Testament Christianity. This is an opportunity to learn from the experiences of other elders from around the world who labor in their service to the Lord Jesus Christ and His church. Only Christians who serve as elders of the church of Christ may participate on this list. This list respects the autonomy of every congregation of the churches of Christ, and it is not intended to be used as a vehicle of authority.

How does this work?

Simply send an e-mail to elders@church-of-christ.org and it gets emailed to everyone who is subscribed to the Elders' ListServ. This is an automated process that is handled by our mailing list processor.

How do I subscribe/unsubscribe?

You can subscribe to the Elders' ListServ by sending an email to the following email address:   elderslistserv@church-of-christ.org

Type the following command in the "Subject Field" of the email: 
join elders@church-of-christ.org.  Please leave the body of your email message blank.

Unsubscribing works the same way. You may unsubscribe by sending an email to the following email address:   elderslistserv@church-of-christ.org

Type the following command in the "Subject Field" of the email: 
leave elders@church-of-christ.org.  Please leave the body of your email message blank.
