- UNIX Administrator - 5 Sun SPARC stations. Oversaw
upgrade from SunOS 4.3 to Solaris 5.2.1.5. Setup and administer
root DNS servers for internal name resolution in Sprint.
- Banyan Administrator - 20 servers running Banyan
5.54(0) or 6.30(0). 2000 Users located primarily in Dallas Area
but also Houston, Austin, San Antonio, St. Louis, Tulsa, and Oklahoma
City.
- Windows NT Administrator - 4 servers running
3.51. We are starting the 4.0 upgrade. We have WINS running for
the NBT spoofing and are using the servers in parallel with Banyan
for file sharing.
- Novell Administrator - 4 servers running 3.12.
300 users located in the Dallas area.
- TCP/IP Administrator - Oversee general administration
of IP network numbers and installation of DHCP and DNS server
on UNIX platforms. Recommending placement and overseeing roll
out of 16 UNIX servers for this project across the nation.
- Network Planning - On committee that: 1) Recommends
placement of servers in Southwest Region. 2) Design of router
placement for the Southwest Region for efficient use of routing
protocols and reduction or elimination of non-routable protocols.
- Network Troubleshooting - Use of HP OpenView
for monitoring defects on the network and paging out of problems.
Use of Network General Sniffers for protocol analysis and troubleshooting
of general network problems. Also use Perl, C and Visual Basic
scripts to automate troubleshooting and updating of databases
that are used in maintenance of the network.

Mobil Oil Corporation.
- PC Support - 800 users working in the downtown
office building. Installed software, hardware and network drivers
for Windows, DOS and OS/2. Installed and tested the BARR interface
for one of the mainframes printers.
August, 1993 to July, 1994. Work at the client site, Hoechst Celanese
Chemical Group.
- PC Support - 75 users working around the world.
Along with general help desk style support also required programming
to provide a common user interface to the Sales Systems Group
- Banyan Administrator - 4 groups totaling 100
people. The site includes 5 Banyan Vines.
